Constructed on stilts with parking under this £15 million store was constructed with large span steel members compositely designed withe concrete metal deck to provide an economical and efficient solution to allow car parking a vehicle movements with minimal impact of supporting columns. Beams were manufactured pre-cambered to maintain a flush line when the floor slab and building dead loads were applied.
